Working throughout the Stobart Aviation Division you will be responsible for all Aviation Security responsibilities for our sites covering Cargo handling and Passenger handling activities, you will be pro-actively supporting all departments with Security compliance and Training support wiht our local based trainers. Ensuring that the Division is fully compliant with both Company, industry and client legislative requirements. You should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills to establish credibility across all levels of the business, along with sound influencing and persuading skills and the ability to drive creative and innovative solutions based on sound understanding of business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible person for our Regulated agent status
- Responsible person for our Certificated instructors
- Oversee the Security Compliance & training department, to secure the regular mandatory training of employees and that all employees training is relevant and current.
- Deliver training across all stations with local training teams
- Keep up to date with modern processes and techniques, with special reference to safety and training.
- Maintain a knowledge and awareness of Industry Standards in relation to the CAA, keeping appraised of amendments and ensuring any changes are reflected within working procedures.
- Manage, maintain and report from the Learning Management System, including developing new online courses
- Maintain liaison with HR and Training departments, enforcement agencies and local authorities.
- Present and represent the business at Industry events as and when requested
- Advise Project Management teams on Safety and training duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure all processes, and any related training is in accordance with the UK CAA National Aviation Security Programme
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- All applicants must hold Certificated Instructor credentials or as a minimum have held this qualification previously
- English and Math's GCSE grade C or above
- Formal Training Qualification
- CIN Qualification (Security compliance)
- Background in Aviation and Ground Handling
- Driving mechanisms and structures to develop and maintain HSQE systems
