We are partnering with a publishing company based in Central London in their search for an Accounts Receivables Assistant. This is a permanent position, and you can look forward to working in an energetic environment and adding real value to a vibrant team.
What you will do:
As an Accounts Receivables Assistant you will be responsible for invoice and order processing, which will include the processing of the correct customer invoices, along with matching transactions, updating systems and ensuring the accuracy and necessary modification of bank reconciliations. You will also be responsible for the identification of duplicates and split invoices, and ensuring that credit notes are processed correctly.
You will also handle customer invoice changes and payment queries, including following up overpayments and consistently communicating with customers. Additionally, you will resolve payment issues, and identify bad debt and non-paying customers.
Key skills and experience:
Accounts receivables experience is desirable, preferably in a high sales volumes environment.
Experience with a range of products and services and their various VAT treatments in various territories.
Knowledge of the end to end documentation process.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to take on technical tasks.
Proactive learner willing to add value to a high growth environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
