Accounts Assistant
Warwickshire
Reporting to - Department Manager
Monday - Friday / 8:30 - 16:30
Salary: Up to GBP23,000
Four Squared Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a fantastic client of ours in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to assist the Management Accountant in the preparation of accurate management information to strict deadlines and to ensure provision of a strong and effective financial and information service.
Key responsibilities:
* To manage the weekly payroll process
* Assist the Management Accountant in the preparation of monthly accounts and cost reports for reporting to senior management team and to parent company operating to strict deadlines
* Maintaining and controlling purchase ledger
* Supplier statements and reconciliation
* BACS Payments
* Bank and cash management and reconciliation
* Purchase order processing
* Expenses and credit card reconciliation
* Weekly payroll
* Accruals and prepayments
* General analysis and reconciliations
* Completion of VAT return
* Assistant in management of cash resources of company
Ideal candidate:
* Have experience of Sage 200 or Business Central/Navision
* Experienced Accounts Assistant
* Knowledge of payroll and HR systems
* Used to working in a fast moving, high volume busy office
* Good understanding of accounting processes
* Group experience an advantage
* Good understanding of excel
