Head of IT

Salary: £59,095 per annum + benefits

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Based: Barnstaple, North Devon

This is a great opportunity to make a real difference. Supported by your team, you will have responsibility for the provision, suitability and availability of IT infrastructure, systems support, security, and stability across the business, together with ownership of the IT strategy.

You will ensure that the IT team and projects deliver the most appropriate solutions that add value to the business, enhance the experience of customers and allow the organisation and its beneficiaries to benefit from the value that good information systems can bring.

We are looking for an effective communicator with strong problem solving and people skills, to foster a positive understanding and engagement in technology, systems, data and cyber security. You will be required to identify solutions, promote technology and resolve issues or technical barriers to support effective customer service delivery or availability of systems, within an appropriately controlled environment.

You must be qualified to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience at a senior level in an appropriate discipline. To complement this, you are required to have good knowledge of GDPR.
