Our client, a property management company, is looking for a Building Manager/Caretaker
to be responsible for the daily running of a large new development comprising 134 properties.
General Responsibilities will include:
* Daily visual inspection of the building, both interior and external
* Assessing maintenance/work requests and undertaking/outsourcing the work
* Cleaning of interior common parts - vacuuming, sweeping, polishing
* Removal of rubbish and keeping refuse area clean
* Weekly litter pick
* Basic gardening and weeding
* Annual machine deep clean of carpets
* Bi-annual air blow of car park and annual deep clean high pressure wash of surface walls and pipework
* Adherence to Health & Safety
* Act as first point of contact for building occupants
* Liaison with residents and contractors
Candidate Profile:
* Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role
* Must have good DIY experience
* A flexible attitude willing to go the extra mile
* Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
* Excellent customer facing skills
* Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
* Good communicator with a 'can do' attitude
* Full UK driving licence and own transport
