An opportunity has arisen for a Fire and Flood Damage Technician to join the UK's leading restoration companies working on various domestic and commercial properties in the Worcester area.
In this field based role, the main responsibly of this role will be providing excellent customer service to customers and clients, whilst providing the best solution to all water, fire and accidental damage to properties.
Specific duties will include:
* Carry out moisture surveys and drying techniques
* Attending jobs allocated by dispatch and the Area Operations Managers
* Identify and follow through on new business opportunities in the area.
* Adhere to company and quality procedures
* Prepare equipment for use and ensure instruments are calibrated
* Ensure company van is equipped, kept clean and serviced
* Liaise with Customers, Loss Adjusters, Builders, Insurance Companies and Policy Holders
* Update 'live jobs' on a weekly basis
* Maintain a visit log for monitoring of jobs and effective forward bookings
* Organising and supervising Subcontractors
* Continue professional development through the company programme
Criteria
* Full UK Driving Licence (clean)
* Able to pass a security check (no criminal convictions)
* Able to pass a credit check (no bankruptcy or outstanding CCJs)
* Be computer literate
* Good education - educated to at least GCSE level
Trainees and entry level Technicians are also considered.
Successful applicants must be able to proof of eligibility (Passport and/or National Insurance and Birth Certificate) and a copy of Full UK Driving Licence.
