Injection Moulding Technician

An established manufacturer of plastic parts to the automotive industry is looking to strengthen their processing team with additional plastic injection moulding Technicians.

Order books remain strong with long-term contracts guaranteeing continuity of work, ensuring a stable and safe opportunity.

As Injection Moulding Technician your duties will include:-

• Providing advanced trouble-shooting and technical support to the shift
• Improving cycle times and reducing scrap
• Overseeing Setters, ensuring company procedures are being adhered to
• Resolving process/production issues
• Monitoring the condition of moulding machinery and ancillary equipment

To be suitable for the role of Injection Moulding Technician, the ideal candidate will:-

• Have significant experience in plastic injection moulding
• Be capable of identifying and trouble-shooting process issues without affecting quality
• Be experienced in process optimisation
• Have an excellent knowledge of polymers
• Be familiar with lean manufacturing

Based in Droitwich this role is commutable from Tewksbury, Worcester, Redditch, Stratford, Kidderminster, Dudley, Malvern and Birmingham.

On offer

• A salary in the region of GBP36k for double day shift (alternating weeks of mornings and afternoons, Mon-Fri), and GBP41k for permanent night shift.
