Finance Assistant/Credit Controller - up to GBP25K bens

Bond Williams Accounting and Finance are recruiting a Credit Controller/Finance Assistant for our client based in Poole.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, as a Finance Assistant/Credit Controller you will be working with another member of staff and responsible for a large client base and duties will include:

• Contacting customers to collect outstanding payments by phone and correspondence, ensuring customers are chased to agreed timescales.
• Dealing with any queries arising
• Producing financial reports.
• Working on the banking system to check for payments and allocating to customer accounts
• Monthly system reconciliations.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with intermediate/advance level in Excel.

Requirements

• Experience working within a similar Credit Control position
• High level of Excel knowledge and skills
• Some experience of Quickbooks would be an advantage, together with ERP knowledge
• Good communication skills, able to work in a team environment
• Studying towards AAT or similar accountancy qualification would be an advantage
• High attention to detail and good communication skills
