Marine Assembly Operative
Our client, a successful Marine Manufacturer based in Cowes are currently looking for an Assembly Operative to support their established team during their busy period within production.
We are looking for an extremely organised individual who has a background with previous assembly experience, and manual dexterity. You must be focused on quality and possess a keen eye for detail; ensuring that every task completed meets company standards and high expectations. The successful candidate will be working as part of a production team but must also have the drive to work from their own initiative.
The day to day duties of this particular position will include but not be limited to:
- Assembly of components using kits provided.
- Quality checks to ensure no faulty products become part of the finished product.
- Ensuring stock takes are accurately recorded and all stock labelled correctly.
- Organising products into kits for the assembly department if required.
- Liaising with staff to report quality issues to team leaders.
- Ensuring all stock is processed correctly and labelled clearly when being despatched.
