Contract: Up to 15 Months FTC - Maternity Cover
Salary: £25,481 - £27,741 (Grade 6)
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Work Pattern: Full Time - Mon/Thurs (0830–1630) & Fri (0830–1600)
Location: Dearne / Barnsley Stations

An opportunity has arisen within Prevention and Protection for a Team Leader in the Prince’s Trust Team Programme as part of our continued development of our Youth Engagement programmes.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Programme Managers for Prince’s Trust whose aim will be to provide young people with the opportunity to break the cycle of deprivation and disadvantage that they might be experiencing.

Specific duties will include identifying marketing opportunities to recruit team members, supporting the implementation of multiple external funding contracts or initiatives and liaising with agencies to establish pre and post programme referral routes and partnerships.

The role will also participate in the development of personal skills of young people in order to meet the requirements of the Prince’s Trust Development Programme and improve their employability.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration, Customer Service or similar and a BTEC higher national diploma or equivalent.  A full UK driving licence is also required.

They will have knowledge of the Prince’s Trust programme and have experience of working with challenging young people. They will also have experience of partnership working, and supervising and developing a team.
