In this role you will undertake the end-to-end administration of our payroll with circa 350 employees and 100 bank staff. Our payroll is processed through the Cascade Payroll system and there is a requirement to have experience of using payroll and other software packages as well as proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
You will have experience of providing accurate and timely administration of a payroll system in a medium to large organisation, including the processing of new starters/leavers/contract changes, SSP/SMP payments, timesheets, pension schemes. In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage your own workload but with support from the team where required. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential in supporting the department in any internal or external payroll enquiries.

We are flexible to your work location. This can be based at any of our 3 hospice sites (Barnstaple, Wraxall (Bristol), St Austell) or home based. However, as there is a need for occasional travel to our Head Office in Barnstaple, it is anticipated that you will be based in the South West.

Hours: 15 hours per week (ideally to be flexed through the month as agreed by both parties)
Salary: GBP22,646 - 25,967 per annum pro rata
