Property manager (residential lettings)

My client, probably one of the best independent estate agencies in Manchester, are looking for an experienced property manager to join the team and also help to train junior staff, offering leadership and people management experience.

They are a proactive and customer focused agent, shown in their online reviews, you're not hard selling anything, simply providing a brilliant service to customers. If this sounds like the role for you then we'd love to hear from you.

Being an experienced property manager you'd already be aware of the day to day aspects of the role, however these would briefly include:

• Meeting and greeting clients
• Handling enquiries & booking viewings
• Resolving maintenance issues for properties under management
• Property inspections
• Recording inventories
• Preparing tenancy paperwork
• Completing move in/out appointments
• Keeping the portfolio closely managed and to the highest standard
• Ensuring full legislative compliance
• Helping to generate new business

We're looking for someone who is a problem solver, quick thinking, articulate, a great communicator and a strong team player.

Other essentials for the ideal candidate are:

• GCSE maths and English are essential, a strong grasp of punctuation, grammar and spelling is a must.
• Full drivers license.
• Reasonable knowledge of Manchester and the city centre.
• Keen eye for detail - you'll be checking contract paperwork and conditions within properties.
• At least two years prior experience as a property manager.
