Conveyancing Paralegal/ Assistant
Location : Harrogate
A well known regional highstreet firm are expanding to the beautiful Victorian Spa town and rural district of Harrogate. A lovely location to work, Harrogate is surrounded by the stunning North York scenery, and town has excellent cafes, tea rooms, restaurants and bars to create the perfect vibrant yet peaceful environment. Now there is an opportunity to join a sought after Yorkshire based firm as a Conveyancing Paralegal/ Assistant in their new Harrogate office.
This role will be in full support of the experienced fee earner who has been within the firm for a number of years and has a large caseload of Residential Conveyancing files. The successful Conveyancing Assistant will have a solid back ground with at least 2 years experience supporting a Conveyancing fee earner on a full and varied caseload. You must have an indepth understanding of the full Conveyancing process and be confident working without supervision, accurately and efficiently within a time pressured environment.
Communication skils are a key requirement, as this position will involve a substancial amount of client contact via phone, email and face to face.
The purpose for this position is to support the fee earner in a variety of ways but predominantly assisting with the following duties:
Using and Case Management System
Opening and Closing files
Running searches
Using Land Registry portal
Submitting Legal documents
Liaising with Clients and updating them on the progress of their sale or purchase I invite applications from experienced Conveyancing Assistants, with a minimum of 2 years experience with a regional or high streetfirm.
