Area Sales Manager : Bathrooms

The Company:

• The Company is a large, well positioned manufacturer with a significant client base and an excellent reputation within the Bathroom Industry.
• Over the last few years, the company have grown significantly, and as such, there are always opportunities for the right individuals to progress.
• They are a proud manufacturer of innovative, high quality bathroom products, including Baths, Showers, Brassware, Sanitaryware and Bathroom Furniture.
• Moving forward, the company plan is to continue the growth they have already experienced and continual investment in key areas which will help achieve this goal.

The Role:

• This is a home based role, as an Area Sales Manager you will be selling the company's innovative product range across the North East (Cleveland, Country Durham, Yorkshire, Northumberland, Humberside, Tyne and Wear).
• As an Area Sales Manager, you will be required to promote the company's full range of bathroom related products to Independent Retailers.
• This is largely an account management job.
• You will be responsible for maintaining and increasing the spend of existing clients, as well as constantly being on the lookout for new business opportunities.
• Our clients will consider people from a retail background who have sold into Retailers (Tabaco, Chewing Gum, Fizzy Drinks etc).
• Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will maintain a professional manner at all times, even in stressful situations.

The Ideal Person:

• Experience in a B2B sales environment.
• Able to close a sales on the day.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential in the role as you will be liaising with a number of different people across all levels; the ability to light up a room.
• You must be a keen and driven individual, with the willingness to learn and have a successful career within a supportive business.
