RUGBY COACH (MEN’S)

Part-time, term-time only

Core hours: 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Wednesdays

Salary: £24.65 per hour

The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and inspirational Coach for the College’s Men’s Rugby Team. The successful applicant will be required to work with male students (16-19 years) to develop their skills and abilities in the sport and train and coach them for competitive matches.

The post holder will be given a casual/zero hours contract and will be required to submit a claim form on a monthly basis to the Personnel Department. The Coach must hold a minimum of a Level 2 RFU coaching qualification.

The post is available immediately and the core hours of work are from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on Wednesdays, although timings can vary according to fixtures. The post holder will be required to work term time only, whilst College Team Sports take place, which is usually for 10 weeks in each of the Autumn and Spring Terms.

Previous experience of working with teenagers is desirable, but not essential. Applicants should hold a full UK Driving License and be willing to drive a minibus to away fixtures (training can be given).

The post requires commitment and flexibility in the approach to work due to the availability of fixtures, training and the weather.
