Area to be covered: Scotland

Remuneration: GBP30,000 - GBP55,000 (depending on experience) + potential bonus

The role of the Business Development Manager - Rendering Systems will involve:

• Field sales positions selling a high quality manufactured range of silicone and coloured rendering products
• Majority of your time will be spent selling through national and independent builders merchants such as Travis Perkins and Huws Gray
• A remaining portion of your time will be spent selling directly to and influencing architects, main contractors, sub-contractors, homeowners and housebuilders with particular focus on plastering contractors
• Dealing with typical order values of GBP1k - GBP50k+
• Will be expected to generate new business and managing some existing accounts
• Working in conjunction with a Sales Director and internal team

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager - Rendering Systems with:

• Must have a proven track record in construction field sales selling a related product such as renders, plasters, mortars, cladding, insulation, rainscreen, facades, roofing systems or related products
• Ideally heavyside / building envelope associated
• Must have experience of selling to national merchants, independent merchants and stockists such as Jewson, Travis Perkins, Huws Gray etc OR contractors, plasterers, applicators, housebuilders on site (ideally both)
• Ideally experienced getting products specified with architects
• Ideally experience of conducting CPD Presentations
• Technical and on-site experience with building materials
• Genuine 'get up and go', determined and tenacious, make a good impression
