Associate Lecturers in Business, Economics, Accounting and Management

Part-time casual contracts (up to 13 weeks)

Job Purpose

As a result of our recent success and expansion in some of our programmes, we are looking to attract excellent Lecturers and those with relevant experience but new to lecturing, who wish to join us on a part-time basis. We have both face-to-face and online opportunities available. Associate Lecturers are required across the following areas:

  • Management

  • Economics

  • Finance

  • Accounting

  • Marketing

  • Strategy and International Business

Main Responsibilities

Associate Lecturers are flexible in terms of the total number of working hours. The main responsibilities include:

  • Delivering teaching activities such as lectures, seminars and tutorials

  • Acting as personal tutors for students

  • Assisting in the marking of student assessments

  • Supervising student dissertations and projects

  • Providing support to staff engaged in teaching

Person Specification  

  • Degree or equivalent relevant to teaching area

  • Practical experience of applying the relevant skills and techniques for the role

  • Ability to analyse information and communicate effectively.

  • Ability to access and organise resources successfully

  • Understanding of an excellent student experience at University level.
