Salary: NJC Scale 1, points 1-3 £15,127.87 to £15,738.35 (actual)

Hours: Term time only, 39 weeks per year. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Usual working hours are 8:30 to 4:30 with a finish of 4:00 one day per week, to be agreed dependent on Academy needs). Part time hours will be considered.

Contract Basis: Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance.

Closing Date: 9am on Monday 27 September 2021

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Technician to help with the smooth running of the Design and Technology Department at our Sleaford Campus.

 

Duties will include maintaining and cleaning equipment; pre-class preparation for displays and exercises; ensuring equipment and materials are available for staff and that work areas are kept clean and tidy. A willingness to be flexible, a cheerful disposition and an interest in technology are required. Current and relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation would be an advantage.

 

The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

 

St George’s Academy is a large, successful, 11-18 mixed secondary school of 2,200 students (including 380 in the sixth form and 470 on our Ruskington Campus) with outstanding facilities in all areas. The Academy serves Sleaford, Ruskington and the surrounding Lincolnshire villages.
