We are working with a leading cosmetic surgery provider with clinics nationwide providing cosmetic, weight loss. medical aesthetic and other lifestyle treatment. They are recruiting for a clinic nurse to join them part time in their clinic in Exeter.
This is a permanent part time position, working 30 hours per week, covering a flexible rota including weekdays/weekends.
Clinical Nurse Job Role
You will be dealing with cosmetic and bariatric surgical patients providing pre- and post-operative care for patients. Ensuring company and CQC standards are met. Liaising with the patient coordinators, clinic manager, surgeons and hospital staff. Although cosmetic surgery experience is not essential, wound care experience is paramount as is dealing with surgical patients and knowledge of infection control matters.
Qualifications/Experienced Required :
* Registered Nurse/NMC Registration
* 2 years post registration experience in surgical wards/Pre/Post op
* Up to date Venepuncture skills
* The confidence and ability to work autonomously is essential.
* Wound Care Experience
* Hep B
* Bariatric Experience (Preferable)
Full training will be provided and the chosen candidate will receive an increase in salary once trained to carry out gastric band fills.
