HGV Class 1 Trunking - AM, PM & Weekend shifts available.
Excellent rates of pay PAYE
Role Info: Rapier Employment are currently seeking HGV 1 drivers for a large distribution company in Allington. The role will consist of delivering palletised goods throughout UK to distribution centres. This is a trunking position. The operation is 24/7 so weekend work is available. This is an ongoing role with the potential to be a permanent role if both parties agree.
The right candidates will need to pass an assessment. This will involve a mixture of driving and class room work such as site rules, safe systems of works etc.
For this role you will ideally be based within a 30 minute commute of Allington.
Pay:
GBP17.50ph Weekday AM
GBP20.00ph Weekday PM
GBP23.00ph Weekends
Guaranteed 9 hours per day
Overtime paid after 9 hours at time and a half
Immediate start
You will possess the following:
LGV/HGV 1 Licence
Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
Relevant experience in driving LGV/HGV 1
Relevant experience in a similar role desirable
Good communication skills
Self-motivated
Well organised
Showing commitment and flexibility
Good time keepingAdditional information:
Weekly pay
Pension scheme
PAYE - 28 days holiday per year
Mortgage references
Full training given.
Duration - Long term, full time.
