Press Brake Operator

Our client is currently hiring Brake Press folding operator to join their busy production team.

The post holder is responsible for undertaking a wide range of manufacturing processes
operating to high standards of quality whilst promoting and supporting continuous
improvement within the Sheet Metal Fabrication Department.

Job details Brake Press folding operator:

•To fully set and operate Amada CNC Press Brakes.
•To set and fabricate sheet metal on Amada machine
•To be able to forward plan and load plan for day machine production.

Quality Control and Continuous Improvement
•To maintain a high standard and quality of work.
•To clean and maintain work area.

An ideal candidate would have the following skills for Brake Press folding operator:

Able to read, understand and fully interpret engineering drawings.
Experience in setting and operating Amada machine
Willing to learn in paint shop ( powder coat paint panels)
Experience in working on stainless steel 1mm to 2.5 mm
Can fold panels from 30 cm to 2 meters
Experience of modern manufacturing techniques.

This Brake Press folding operator is a Temporary role for 6 months or longer
37.5 hours per week
Location: Feltham
