This full-time, temporary role (Fixed Term Contract until 31/12/2021) sits within our UK Quality Team, with responsibility for supporting manufacturing with a critical production ramp up of transducers to satisfy customer demands; the Quality Engineer will ensure that controls are in place and followed. Risks are identified and actions driven to mitigate and a structured approach to Problem Solving is adhered to.
About the role:
* Support/Facilitate FMEA reviews.
* Generation and development of Process Control Plans.
* Lead cross functional teams through problem solving activity, including root cause analysis and verification.
* KPI management and data analysis.
About You:
Essential Skills, Experience and Education:
* Proven experience working within a manufacturing quality role.
* Experience of leading/facilitating root cause analysis by utilising tools such as 5 why and fishbone.
* Comprehensive understanding of 8D and DMAIC methodologies
* Understanding of statistical analysis
* Pro-active approach to a hands-on role.
* Ability to manage own time
* Confident in collaborating with immediate and wider teams.
* An open and flexible approach that will suit the needs of a rapidly evolving business.
Desirable Qualities:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent).
* Process auditing.
* Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt qualification/ Practitioner or equivalent.
Location: Crowborough, East Sussex, UK
