About the Role
The successful candidate will develop, coordinate and deliver accredited & non-accredited training programmes to the unemployed.
They will provide exciting learning experiences which focus on the key elements of employability skills, including: vocational training, functional skills and personal & social development.
Alongside delivery, the successful candidate will also be required to plan, develop & evaluate participant portfolios.
Duties
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist in the development and delivery of high quality, exciting, fun and innovative training programmes
Work cooperatively with partners and delivery staff to develop the education and training programmes
Deliver qualifications to participants and manage the associated portfolios, paperwork and assessment materials
Create lesson plans and develop resources to provide a varied and differentiated programme of delivery that leads to positive outcomes
About the Candidate
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
Hold a Teaching Qualification or equivalent (e.g. CTLLS, PTTLS)
Experience of NEET programme delivery and developing NEET resources
Experience in delivering training programmes for the unemployed
ICT literate to intermediate level and confident in using the Office 365 suite, including: Access, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
Fluent in the English language
Proven track record of meeting challenging contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
Possess high level communication, interpersonal and presentational skills
Knowledge and understanding of the local labour market, sector skills gaps, local employment & skills provision, specialist support networks, and education & training providers
Previous experience of delivering engaging and meaningful learning activities and training workshops within an employment and skills sector
Possess excellent organisational and time management skills
