Field Service Supervisor - Turbo Machinery - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom
Join Sulzer as a Field Service Supervisor - Turbomachinery to support our continued growth in the UK markets and abroad, delivering best-in-class service to our customers. You will join a committed team with back office and engineering support to meet and exceed our customers' expectations together.
This is a remote based role
In this role you will be accountable for:
* Lead the Field Service Technicians (Sulzer or Customers)
* The motivation of all Field Service Technicians to deliver a high quality of workmanship.
* Strip, inspect, and re-build machinery following pre-established work scopes or using own judgment in a situation where no work scope could be defined i.e. emergency repairs, problem-solving, etc
* Work to prescribed clearances/tolerances as dictated by the manufacturer's specifications or good engineering practice
* A senior representative for Sulzer on the site
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Time served mechanical technician.
* 10 years experience working on Turbomachinery in the field and within a workshop
* Capable of reading and understanding technical drawings
* Preferably but not essential hold a valid Offshore Survival Certificate and UKOOA Medical
* Prepared to work offshore and overseas
* Computer skills
* Influencing and persuasion skills
* Customer service skills
