Field Service Engineer
East Anglia - Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire
Suitable for a Service Engineer with experience in the scientific industry (chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, materials science, liquid handling, bench-top laboratory equipment, IVD/pathology, life science instrumentation) or a Chemist/Analyst who with hands on experience maintaining analytical chemistry instrumentation in the laboratory who is looking to move into Field Service as full training is provided!
About the role:
To manage and plan the efficient operation of the area, including all Scheduled Maintenance,
Emergency, Warranty and Validation work.
To provide technical support with equipment installations when required
To assist with scheduled maintenance work in other territories.
To actively promote all aspects of the company including all Service Support products and to liaise with the local area salesperson.
To provide market intelligence to sales division.
Profile:
?? Either have an analytical chemistry background, coming from the laboratory environment and wanting to move into field service
?? Or have experience working as a Field Service Engineer on analytical or laboratory equipment
