Technician

Required for Academic Year 2021/22

20 hours per week – 36 weeks per year

£18,225 per annum pro rata (actual salary £7,908 per annum)

This is a great opportunity to support and encourage our students as they learn practical health and catering skills. You’ll be role modelling good practice in our brand new hospital ward and also our training kitchen. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene across these areas and for purchasing and controlling stock. Ideally you will have worked in health support or catering and be able to share that knowledge with students. A qualification in Food Safety or a willingness to undertake one is a key requirement.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
