Job Title: Warehouse operative
Pay Rate: GBP12p/h
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4pm and Friday - 8am - 1:30pm
Location: Brighouse
Contract: 2 week temp cover
Start Date: ASAP
OVERVIEW:
Our client is a leader in its given field in the UK producing high quality industrial equipment
Job role:
* Picking and packing (collection of items from the shelves and packing them either in boxes or securing ready-made boxes to a pallet
* Tools used: cling film, plastic banding with a portable banding machine, packing tape; screws and a power screwdriver
* Minor manufacturing of suitable skids/pallets = cutting bigger pallets into smaller ones
* Taking dimensions weights of the final shipment crates and reporting them to the Import/Export Coordinator for arranging the freight
* Reception / off-loading of shipments from and loading of outgoing shipments to road hauliers' wagons
* Tools: used: forklift
* Ensuring drivers' collecting goods sign off a delivery memo
