Compliance Monitoring Manager
Intrum UK have an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Monitoring Manager.
As the Compliance Monitoring Manager you will be responsible for the provision of expert compliance advice to the business regarding regulatory changes and emerging regulatory risk. You will ensure that appropriate mechanisms are in place to address the regulatory training needs of the wider business through policy management and liaising with relevant departments. Your direct reports will include the Compliance Monitoring Officer and Compliance Administration Officer.

Reporting to the Compliance Director the key accountabilities for the Compliance Monitoring Manager role are:
A strong understanding of the FCA handbook - in particular the CONC Sourcebook as well as DPA / GDPR, LSB, OFCOME and any other regulatory matters will be an advantage.
Assisting the Compliance Director in administering effective control and monitoring processes across the business.
Proactively managing own workload to ensure the objectives of the Company's annual risk based monitoring programme are delivered in a timely manner.
Assisting with trend and root cause analysis on complaints, drive improved processes and policy management.
Identifying areas of operational risk or compliance failure within the business and work with management to develop action plans to rectify these failures.
Monitoring compliance systems and controls in line with SYSC.
Assisting in conducting horizon scanning to establish change in regulation and legislation and communicate to the business in a timely manner.
Assisting in the maintenance and management of company policies and procedures for all departments via the internal policy management system, review and evaluate their effectiveness.
Preparing regular Management Information (MI) for senior stakeholders (Compliance, Risk and Audit Committee and Policy Champions) in line with agreed deadlines.
Assisting with the monitoring of pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organisational processes and report accordingly.

The successful Compliance Monitoring Manager will have experience operating at a high level in a compliance function of an organization within the Financial Services sector, regulated by the FCA. You will have knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance notes relating to the industry and bring with you excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
