Role: Self Employed Driver/Support Worker
Location: Kent
ISP is an Independent Fostering Organisation, operating across the South East. ISP takes a therapeutic approach to working with children and is committed to promoting positive outcomes for the children and young people in placement.
We are currently looking to recruit Drivers to work flexibly across the week, including some evening and weekends. The role will include providing transport for children placed within ISP transporting them to and from school, contact and medical appointments and some out of hours working.
With a background in social care or any other related area and an understanding of the challenges faced by children, young people and families you will need to have:
* A full clean driving licence
* Own vehicle with a valid MOT
* Some previous experience of working with looked after children
* Open to work evenings and weekends
* Good time management skills
* Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work. Any costs incurred will be met by ISP.
