Berry Recruitment Darlington are recruiting for a Process and Maintenance Technician for our Client in the Newton Aycliffe area.

This will be a temporary ongoing and potentially permanent role for the right candidate, within a company who are World Leaders in the Global Offshire Energy Market.

The main duties of the role are to work within the maintenance/facilities and process team, taking responsibility for reactive and proactive maintenance and process related tasks.

Duties will include but are not limited to;

- Proactively identify faults, repair and report as required.

- Planning and undertaking planned and preventative maintenance.

- Respond to breakdowns using a purpose created app.

- Supervise subcontractors on site, ensuring full health and safety compliance at all times.

- Set up new and existing aluminium moulds ready for production.

This Client is looking for a Candidate who has experience working with and maintaining polyurethane dispensing machines, however this is desirable and not mandatory. Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics and gear pumps is essential, along with bench work skills, the ability to read technical drawings and COSHH awareness.

This role is Monday to Friday; Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 15:30pm, Friday 7:00am - 14:00pm.

Salary is between GBP26,000 and GBP32,000 per annum, with overtime paid at time and a half Monday to Saturday, and double time on a Sunday.
