The role:
My client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong background in Petrochemical projects to join a growing team in Teesside.
The suitable candidate would need to possess good interpersonal and organizational skills and have strong working knowledge of JCT, NEC, FIDIC Contracts, along with experience in Cost Engineering.
The role will involve both pre and post contract QS duties (estimating, cost planning, preparing contract documents, procurement, tender analysis, interim valuations, cost reporting, final account settlement and various specialist report writing).
Key candidate criteria:
??Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in Petrochemical industry projects.
??Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
??Preferably be RICS qualified or studying for qualifications, but this isn't essential.
??Strong working knowledge of JCT, NEC, FIDIC Contracts.
??Conversant in all latest computer software packages including MS Word and MS Excel.
??Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Experience of SAP would be an advantage but is not essential
??Clean driving license
