This role is working with Artex, part of the Saint-Gobain group. Today, Artex operates as an essential supply partner of building materials to home improvement retailer's decorator centres and merchants. The company focuses on delivering excellent customer service, providing a specialist multi-drop distribution service, and offering a wide range of products for both the trade and DIY markets including decorative finishes, building materials and specialist tools. The extensive product range is continuously developed to meet the needs of today's demanding market.

The Business & Digital Transformation Manager sits within the leadership team, reporting directly to Managing Director and as a result the role will be influential in shaping the future business, but with the expectation that the individual will be equally at ease rolling up your sleeves and getting into the detail with the teams when required.

You will seek to identify and develop innovative digital software, solutions and efficient ways of working across our business, defined by a clear understanding of the market, key touch points and customer needs. Strategically working to understand the future needs of our customers and to develop innovative solutions to position Artex as an industry-leading distributor of construction products for today and the future

What skills and experience are we looking for?

Understanding of e-commerce, PPC and driving value would be beneficial.
* Able to show capability for managing and implementing a number of complex projects simultaneously whilst ensuring day to day performance is achieved.
* Having a number of different leadership/management styles and knowing when and how to use each style to ensure you get the best of any situation.
* Embraces change, demonstrating creativity, agility and flexibility - does not accept the status quo.
