We have a new position for a Test Engineer to support new product development (NPD) and legacy products with assisting in the design, development and testing of electronic products by constructing and testing circuits, products and prototypes under guidance from design engineers. Test Engineer Responsibilities:
*To work within the Technical Section for assisting in the design, development and testing of electronic products
*Bring constant improvement to the area of Logistics processing section, Inspection and Test by ensuring that all faults found in logistics are quickly identified, reported on, re-worked as required and eradicated.
*To process customer returns and repairs. Ensure that all test equipment and test software is fully maintained.
*Support customers with technical assistance on the company's product range.
*Rigorously and exhaustively test electronic assemblies, products, and prototypes.
*From given circuit diagrams, create neat and tidy working electronic assemblies.
*Report on test results and findings in clear and accurate computer-written reports.
*Analyse and test circuit assemblies, prototypes, and products to identify faulty components.
*Repair faulty or damaged electronic assemblies to restore correct operation.
*Maintain the department's tools and equipment in good working order.
*Monitor and replenish component, tools, and equipment stocks where appropriate.
*Liaise with persons in other departments where required, to explain findings during testing.

Test Engineer Qualifications/Experience:
*Qualification in electronics or electronic engineering
*Proficient in use of standard electronics test equipment: meters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
*Good understanding of electronic components and their operation, to include passive components, diodes, transistors, switches, and relays.
*Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams.
*Software knowledge, ability to read, write and modify Software Nosy / NUT, C, C++
*Good circuit construction skills including stripboard and PCB wiring, soldering components and the effective repair of electronic assemblies including through-hole and SMT.
*Ability to perform basic electronic calculations such as resistor power ratings etc.
*Ability to fault-find on electronic assemblies using test equipment and circuit diagrams.
*Able to rigorously, methodically, and accurately test electronic systems and make accurate records of results.
*Able to present findings in the form of detailed, clear, and unambiguous written reports.
*Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, and Excel
*A basic level of mechanical construction ability such as accurate drilling, sawing, and filing
*Ability to work on own initiative in response to written or verbal instructions.
