Key responsibilities:
We are looking for a confident and competent person with a background in the build and fitting of mechanical and electrical systems.
Working closely with the other members of the team, your role will be to be part of the Special Vehicle Operations - therefore previous vehicle/automotive experience would be ideal but not essential:
Work to instruction on the fitting of uplift components to production vehicles, they could include but not limited fitting electrical sub-assemblies, mechanical upgrades and hydraulic components.
Liaise with production engineers to continuously improve and escalate issues of small-scale production processes of niche components.
Provide own basic tool kit and PPE. Specialist tools will be provided.Required Experience and Qualifications:
You will hold good general electrical and mechanical fitting skills, ideally with practical experience of vehicle systems.The following are essential requirements:
Experience of working on vehicles, plant or machinery.
Basic understanding of electrics, sub systems and assemblies.
Understand and adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
Ability to integrate and work well within a small team.The following would also be advantageous:
Flexible work ethic and amenable to additional hours if required.
Basic metalworking skills and ability to use test workshop equipment (lathe, milling machine, pillar drill, welder etc.) without necessarily being an expert.The contract will be paying GBP14.00 per hour (PAYE) plus holiday or GBP18.81 UMB. Thsi role is deemed inside IR35 therefore LTD company contrcats not available.
This contract will be working standard days, Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
