We are recruiting on behalf of a large manufacturing company based in the Medway Towns for a Team Leader to supervise a team of production operatives.
The main duties of the role will be to provide an effective and efficient production support for site operations. This includes the organisation of the operatives day-to-day duties, helping to deliver consistently first class products to agreed quality standards.
This is very much a 'hands on' role and does involve some manual handling so the successful candidate will be required to be physically fit, with an excellent record for Health and Safety. You will have a strong SHE awareness along with strong communication and leadership of manufacturing teams.
Previous experience with machine operation\batch production is an advantage.
Hours of work are rotating shifts, a week of days Monday to Friday 6.00am to 6.00pm, or nights Monday to Friday 6.00pm - 6.00am, overtime is paid paid at an enhanced rate.
