Estimator / Quantity Surveyor - Succession planning opportunity to Estimating Manager

This 25-year-old traditional contractor with a circa GBP20m turnover, has a tremendously exciting career opportunity for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor. Succession planning means this role will (for the right character and person) develop into an estimating manager / head of estimating position within a short period of time.
Their core work comprises refurbishment and fit-out work across various sectors; healthcare, education, commercial - listed buildings, restoration, roofing contracts and also have their own residential developments. They also do a lot of work with event companies - Morgan Sindall FM / Bouygues and directly for hospitals and trusts. Typical project sizes are around the GBP2-3m with the biggest being just under GBP5m.
The company is looking for an ambitious estimator that wants to develop their career - maybe that's lacking where they are at the moment.
It would suit someone who is has at least 5yrs estimating experience under their belt (which ideally includes fast track fit-out) and who is also prepared to turn their hand to some quantity surveying as well (excellent training on offer from a highly experienced company owner).
The estimating itself is standard; spreadsheets / take off from drawings and the surveying element will include final accounts through to meeting clients.
