An excellent opportunity for candidates looking to lead a team whilst managing the Sales Order Process from quotation to order entry through to invoice, ensuring the correct processes are utilised and applied, resulting in the best customer experience for high customer satisfaction.

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Core Hours 9am - 4pm

Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP37,000 + 10% of salary bonus

This role will be responsible for liaising with the Global Sales team and after receipt of the customer purchase orders, you will ensure the best shipping schedule for the customers and due to the nature of the role you will be responsible for Export and the compliance surrounding this.


Day to day management of the Customer Services team
Performance management & development, training of employees, dealing with personnel issues
Sales order processing using SAP
Despatch of customer orders
Invoicing using SAP
Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints
Ensuring compliance to HMRC regulations regarding Export Control Legislation
Managing Export License Applications
Ensuring Continuous Improvement of customer services processes within company
Preparing and monitoring business KPI's for the Customer Service functions
Providing logistics recommendations
Producing freight quotes and suggested methods of transportation
Knowledge and Experience:

High level knowledge of SAP for sales order processing
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Experience of leading a team (desirable)
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
Excellent analytical and reporting skills with strong organisational and planning skills
Knowledge of HMRC procedures, Export Control and Compliance (Desirable)
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM package (Desirable)
