Our client is a very reputable and established contractor based in Stockport. They deliver single source construction and engineering solutions to the UK's public and private sectors, focusing on the healthcare industry. They work on new build and refurbishment projects ranging in value from GBP1M - GBP20M; Hospitals, Laboratories, Operating Theatres etc.
Due to continued success and growth they are now looking to recruit an experienced Building Services Manager (Mechanical or Electrical bias).
Building Services Manager

Brief overview of position;
Responsible for overseeing the delivery of building services applications and systems on contracts, in accordance with company quality and health and safety policies and standards, whilst also contributing to the tendering and estimating of business opportunities as and where required.
Specific roles
• Ensuring that systems are compliant with required standards and guidelines within project designs.
• Procurement of systems and associated plant and labour through the supply chain.
• Planning sub-contract works in accordance with programmes and deadlines.
• Liaising with clients, designers and site management teams to ensure best practice and specifications are adhered to.
• Working closely with the consultants and sub-contractor teams to ensure complete coordination of services.
• Quality Control generally and utilising Snag R.
Suitable candidates will have experience having worked as a Building Services Manager for a main contractor OR an M&E Project/Contract Manager for an M&E contractor. Experience working on healthcare projects would be advantageous.
