Electrical Fitter
Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for an Electrical Fitter to join our clients busy manufacturing site based in Livingston.
This position is full time permanent role
Job Purpose:
Electrical fitter who will support the Maintenance team in achieving our overall business objectives.
Applicants must be time served in an Electrical Engineering discipline and an HNC in an Engineering related subject is desirable. (Must be able to provide time served papers)
Job role:
This is a 3 shift position working .
As part of a skilled team, this role involves working to both planned and reactive maintenance schedules within the plant, repairing and maintaining forging presses, furnaces, machine tools, plus electrical installations and PAT testing.
The successful candidate will join a team responsible for all elements of electrical plant maintenance
Applicants must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage a varied and demanding work load.
You must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings.
You must also be able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces, as well as having basic IT skills together with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prior industry experience in electrical maintenance covering medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, trouble shooting, and working with inspection and maintenance programmes to meet statutory requirements is essential.
