HR Administrator - 6 month FTC-Perm
City - hybrid working
GBP30,000-GBP33,000
My client is a leading Construction company based in the heart of the City, they are looking for a HR Administrator who has 2 years' experience of supporting the HR function. Ideally you will be working towards CIPD qualifications and have experience with a HR database (Workday preferable). The successful candidate will have a maximum of 2 weeks' notice period and able to commit to a fixed term contract with a view to be extended/go permanent.
The Role
Issuing new starter contracts and ensuring the onboarding experience is positive for our new staff members
Taking full ownership for our new starter payroll tracker
Ensure all employee information is loaded onto our HR System (Workday) accurately and in a timely manner, this includes visa and probation expiry dates, notice periods and any other information as instructed by the team
Own all HR System updates including leavers, transfers, salary changes and other changes as requested by the HR team.
Understanding the Payroll process and be able to support the Pay and Benefits Manager with preparation and administration support
Assisting with our annual benefits window
Investigating and resolving payroll queries
Coordinating HR Projects and taking minutes as required
The Person
Degree educated or qualified by experience within an HR & Payroll Assistant role
Ideally studying towards CIPD Level 5
Experience working across HR Systems (we use Workday so it would be an added bonus if you have used this!)
Experience (or a desire to learn) with a payroll process
