Job description: Maintenance Engineer
The job Role requires mechanical and electrical engineering skills / knowledge to maintain and enhance plant and equipment performance. Provide first-class, flexible support to production requirements. Train, develop and support appropriate staff to deliver maintenance objectives. Identify and develop improvement projects.
Roles and responsibilities: Maintenance Engineer
*Provide engineering support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.
*Train, develop and sign off nominated production staff to carry out first-line maintenance to designated plant & equipment. Ensuring that all H&S procedures, engineering best practices are adhered to consistently.
*To plan, control and implement agreed on small projects
*Reactive maintenance taking appropriate action to resolve, then report and document actions taken. Escalate issues to the Engineering Plant Manager as advised by the company escalation procedure
