Project Finance Officer
The Rivers Trust is the umbrella organisation for a network of 65 Rivers Trusts, each delivering improvements to rivers at a local scale for the benefit of thriving communities and wildlife throughout the UK and the island of Ireland. Rapid expansion of the organisation in the past two years has created the need for a larger team to manage its finances.
The finance team is loosely based around an office in Stoke Climsland in East Cornwall, but have become accustomed to working from home and so we would welcome applications from candidates anywhere in the South West of England or further afield. Both roles below would require attendance at the office once or twice a month, and the Finance Director would also need to attend board and committee meetings in London up to 8 times a year, but they will both be based at home.
Project Finance Officer. Circa £28K.
The rapid growth of The Rivers Trust (see above) means that we now need to appoint a full time Project Finance Officer to augment the existing team of three people reporting to the Head of Finance. The Rivers Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced financial administrator with a good working knowledge of Excel and Sage software. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, very well organised and efficient and a team player.
