At GAMA Healthcare we help prevent infections and save lives. Our product portfolio ranges from disinfectant wipes and hand gels (Clinell) to medical equipment (rediroom). As infection prevention has become a global priority, the demand has increased for our innovative, reliable products across new industries and new countries. We've experienced significant growth in the last year that's resulted in new colleagues joining every team.
To support this growth, we're looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to take ownership of UK monthly payroll, ensuring everyone is paid correctly, and on time. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and enjoys working at pace.
What will you do?
Prepare the monthly payroll submissions to Moorepay for the UK payroll
Act as the first point of contact for any employee queries, escalating to the Financial Controller as appropriate
Collate monthly/annual employment tax related information e.g. P11d submissions
Analyse and post staff cash and credit card expenses
Work closely with HR on all payroll related personnel matters
Liaise with, and oversee, international payroll providers
Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

What will you need?
Previous success processing UK payroll with a good understanding of UK employment taxes is essential
Experience with Moorepay or similar payroll platform is advantageous
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
Organisational skills to meet deadlines
Proficient with MS Excel
Experience with a Financial ERP system would be beneficial
Relevant payroll or accounting qualification would be advantageous
