Page Personnel are supporting an exciting client based in Huddersfield in their search for a HR Generalist. This is a highly varied role, offering a blend of both operational HR duties to provide excellent day-to-day HR services along with partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver new HR strategies. Our client is a highly successful and well-established organisation based in Huddersfield. The HR Generalist role sits within a close-knit site and therefore the successful candidate can enjoy collaboration full autonomy over HR processes.

Description

The primary function of the HR Generalist role will be to oversee a high quality HR service to all business stakeholders whilst also contributing towards the future HR strategy and collaborating with senior leadership members. Additional duties are to include but not limited to:

Provide coaching and guidance to line managers to enable them to lead their teams and deal with any issues effectively
Developing consistent framework on HR processes, procedures and policies including performance review cycle, talent reviews, pay reviews, and provide education and guidance to line managers on their implementation
Support senior business stakeholders in the design and delivery of talent programmes
Be the first point of contact for employees and Managers for all HR queries
Managing complex and sensitive ER cases when required, providing advice and coaching to managers, ensuring legislation/process is followed
Proactively manage a range of HR projects - taking the leading role in steering groups which impact on ER for the officeProfile

We're looking for someone with;

Proven experience in a generalist HR role
CIPD qualified is preferred
Strong working knowledge of employment law issues and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations
Commercial acumen - has a good overall understanding of company finances and uses this information to support managers in resource planning, training, compensation, benefits etc.
