Job Title: HR Advisor
Salary: Up to GBP32,000
Location: Hull - Hybrid working
OVERVIEW:
An exciting opportunity to work in this newly created position to support the Head of HR working operationally throughout the business. A mix of remote and office working for the foreseeable future. It is an incredibly safe environment where the staff matter the most. This truly is an opportunity not to miss as they rarely come around.
This vacancy is new due to continued growth and success and is an integral part of the business. It is exciting, and you will be able to put your own stamp on the role combined with giving the successful candidate variety from working in HR and Training. This position is full time however a 4 day working week would be considered for the right candidate.
THE ROLE:
Support the HR Manager with a hands-on approach
Produce reports and analyse HR data
Be the main point of contact for employee relations cases
Provide guidance on policy and procedure
Be responsible for the full employee life cycle
Manage recruitment campaigns with line managers
Responsible for inductions and onboarding of new starters
Produce contracts
Manage apprentices and the apprenticeship scheme
Be the main point of contact for HR queries
Provide an effective HR service
Provide support for training division
THE CANDIDATE:
Working in a similar level role i.e. officer or advisor position for a minimum of 2 years
Ideally CIPD level 5 or equivalent
Experience in provide HR data / HR reporting
Ability to influence and build stakeholder relations is key
Provide a trusting relationship to the senior leadership team
Strong communication skills and ability to challenge professionally when required
Be able to demonstrate experience of handling ER casework although this won't be a massive part of the role
