We are excited to exclusively be partnering with a leading global engineering business who's mission it is to enhance people's lives with their outstanding technology.
This is a newly created role in the organisation for an Internal Recruiter to join their team and be the stand-alone Recruiter for the UK! You will report directly into the Senior Director of Talent in America, but also work very closely with the rest of the Talent Acquisition team across the globe (such as Germany and Czech Republic).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding Internal Recruiter to establish themselves in this newly created role where there will be autonomy and investments made to provide an outstanding recruitment service to the UK.
This is a 6-month fixed term contract initially, due to the role being newly created as the organisation grows in the UK, however it is more than likely to go permanent.
The salary for the role is between GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 however this could be negotiated for the right person.
You will be based out of the offices in Stockport; however, this is a hybrid role so you will be able to work from home 3 days per week. The 2 days per week in the office are important as you will be using this time to forge relationships with key hiring managers in this location.
THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process for a variety of positions including Engineering, R&D, G&A, Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations. You will source candidates through various channels, conduct screening interviews, plan interview and selection procedures and educate your hiring managers on market data. This will entail creating strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify candidate search criteria for assigned jobs.
Recruit/attract qualified candidates through the full cycle recruiting process for multiple sites and regions.
Source passive candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
Conduct candidate screening interviews.
Plan interview and selection procedures, including telephone and/or video interviews, assessments and in-person interviews.
Maintain candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using the Applicant Tracking System.
Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements.
Support employer branding initiatives.
Maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System to support meaningful metrics for hiring.
Conduct reference checks where appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years experience of management recruitment end-to-end.
Proven experience of filling technical positions.
Proficiency utilising various talent sourcing channels including a LinkedIn Recruiter.
Experience building diverse candidate pipelines for underrepresented candidate groups in the market.
Skilled in using market data to influence recruiting strategy with hiring managers.
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping and familiarity with HRIS systems (experience in Workday is a plus)
