Our Public Sector Government based client is looking to recruit a Software Engineer on a 6 month contract. You will work as part of a highly skilled team that is responsible for delivering data driven software solutions in a cloud based environment.
You will assist with design and development of these exciting solutions.
The ideal candidate will have skills and experience in the following:
* Strong AWS (Amazon Web Services) experience - Deep use of Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3 and CloudFormation
* Strong Python experience - Extensive use of python 3 and pytest
* Experience with BDD - e.g., Behave
* Big data, data transformation and cloud.
Desirable Skills
* AWS (Amazon Web Services) experience with - CDK, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, EMR, ECS and Fargate
At present the role is remote based but may need occasional attendance at the office in the future.
Preference will also be given to candidates who hold SC Security Clearance however those eligible to apply will be considered. You will need to obtain BPSS Clearance prior to starting which takes 2-4 weeks and also have submitted a SC Clearance Application.
Day Rate: GBP589.34 per day INSIDE IR35 via a umbrella company
