Finance Analyst

Robert Walters are delighted to be working with a client based in Watford recruiting for a Finance Analyst, with a passion for both Technical and Commercial Accounting. The business is looking for someone keen on continuing their development within Accounting by adding to their already good exposure to preparing reports for non-financial stakeholders and month-end management account preparation.

Duties for the Finance Analyst:

Preparing a variety of daily, weekly and monthly financial reports for use by non-financial stakeholders
Management account preparation - completing the month end process and providing support to the Senior Finance Manager in producing the Commercial section of the Management Accounts
Financial system data maintenance and uploads
Financial analysis for major business initiatives where relevant
Ad-hoc financial analysis as required

To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must have:

Experience in a similar Accounting role, ideally within a fast moving industry such as FMCG and/or Retail
Highly numerate skills with a keen eye for detail
Exposure to investigating discrepancies and issues in depth
Strong Excel skills
Be PQ ACCA or CIMA with a proven track record of exam passes

This Finance Analyst vacancy is based in Watford, Hertfordshire with a salary range of GBP28,000 - GBP33,000 plus company specific benefits and study support
