Our Client Adler Pelzer are a worldwide leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of acoustic and thermal components and systems for the Automotive sector. They are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant working at their site in Tipton, West Midlands.
Overall purpose of the role:
To ensure the duties of an accounts assistant are performed in an efficient and organised manner, in order to support the finance function.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
- Resolving account discrepancies
- Processing and recording transactions to maintain records and account status
- Supporting Accounts Payable and Treasury duties
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date
- Working with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts
- Generating reports and statements for internal use
- Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge

Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and time management skills.

- Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages
- Knowledge of software packages such as SAP and Navision
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role

The salary for the role is GBP24k to GBP27K per annum.
Permanent role - 40 hours / week.
NEST Pension of 3% Employer and 5% Employee Contribution
