The Field Service Engineer (FSE hereinafter) includes tasks but not limited to install, service and repair commercial Electric Vehicle charging points across the UK's largest EV charging network.
Responsibilities:
* Electrical qualifications essential
* PCB analysis experience advantageous
* Field service engineering experience including but not limited to fault finding and diagnosis
* Electro-mechanical repairs knowledge and experience
* To carry out risk assessments and adhere to method statements
* To ensure installations are correctly identified by type
* To ensure electrical installations are compliant to Electrical regulations
* To ensure current processes established on site are adhered to.
Technical competencies:
* Knowledge of electric vehicles types, characteristics, charging requirements and safety considerations.
* Knowledge of Electric Vehicle charging (modes of charging and requirements, restrictions)
* Understanding of electrical installation requirements (Supply, Earthing, Planning permission, Explosive atmospheres, Protection, Labelling, Control, Risk assessment)
* Knowledge of Inspection, Test, and certification (Commissioning and DNO paperwork)
* Hands on experience in safe isolation procedures, system test, fault finding, diagnosis and repair of faulty EVCP
